Weekly Writing Challenge: Mind the Gap Occupy Wall Street

Most people are complacent and afraid of change. If it isn’t something that is at their door step they stay inside in their illusion of comfort. But, if it starts knocking at their door then they start complaining. By then it’s too late. Poor me kick in. If it weren’t for the groups of people who gather to protest the wrongs in the world the media would not cover it, and we would be left in the dark. Whether we want to admit it or not we do listen and it does affect us in some way, what happens in the world of politics. We are in the state we are in because we turned a blind eye to what is really going on in the world. We are all interconnected somehow, whether we want to admit it, accept it or not.
